Sherman County Soil & Water Conservation District announces the 2026 NACD Stewardship Poster Contest for K-12 students in public school, private school, or homeschool! This year's theme is "Soil. Where it All Begins".   Posters must be submitted to the Sherman County SWCD by October 15th. 

Local Sherman County poster contest winners will receive prizes in each category from the SWCD, then their posters will be sent to the state competion, and the state winning posters are sent to the national competition. The grade categories are K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9, an 10-12. National winners in each grade category are recognized at NACD's annual meeting and will receive:

• First-place $200
• Second-place $150
• Third-place $100

 Posters must be submitted to the Sherman County SWCD by October 15th and be accompanied by an entry form signed by a parent or guardian.
