SWCD was pleased to award an Education Grant to the 4th and 5th graders to attend the Maryhill Museum of Art in May. Some highlights were: Learning about the history of the Museum, the Native American displays, items donated by Queen Marie of Romania, various styles of artwork, and amazing chess sets. Outside, everyone participated in a fun (and windy) scavenger hunt. Lunch was enjoyed on the lawn before returning back to school. Thank you to all the wonderful adult volunteers! It was a fantastic and educational day at the end of the school year.
